Developed by CF Labs, Consumer Focus’s online innovation department, the RecalledProducts website uses data pulled from the European Commission’s RAPEX web pages to give details of product recalls issued by manufacturers across the EU.
Recalled Products offers enhancements to the original RAPEX website including categorisation of products and a fully featured search system. RSS feeds and email alerts allow users to stay up to date with the latest recall notices without the requirement to revisit the site.
It also provides a widget whereby updates can be easily embedded into third party websites, thus maximising coverage of the information.
