The Scottish Civil Courts Review, published in September 2009, recommended that a review of expenses and funding of civil litigation be undertaken in Scotland. This review commenced in May 2011 and is being led by Sheriff Principal James Taylor. Consumer Focus Scotland is represented on the reference group for this review (‘Taylor Review’).
