The overall aim of the scoping study was to explore the feasibility of introducing a signposting service for people who want to complain about public services, and set out the pros and cons of alternative options for providing such a service. The report recommends, in the first instance, that the Scottish Government set up a web-based information and advice service for consumers who wish to make a complaint about public services in Scotland.
