The search for inspiring water efficiency projects is on!
Consumer Focus Scotland is proud to be supporting the 2012 UK water efficiency awards which recognise organisations across the UK that are making waves on water efficiency.
Businesses in the UK currently use about 9.8billion cubic litres of water a day – but estimates show that we could be using up to a third less – saving around £10million every day.
One project in Scotland will be given an exemplar award, for using water efficiency to create social, environmental and economic benefits – and this is sponsored by Consumer Focus Scotland. It would be fantastic for a Scottish business to be recognised for such a great achievement at these UK wide awards.
It is free to enter and the awards will be presented at an exclusive ceremony at the House of Lords in September.

- Campaigns and education
- Community-led initiative
- Farming and horticulture
- Innovation
- Landscape and gardening
- Research and evaluation
